We'll get to know you so you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, and we'll offer help and advice with your wedding from timeline/schedule planning to sunset photo location suggestions and everything in between. Behind the Lens

Patrick and Desiree, owners of Patrick Beare Photography, LLC

Our goal since day 1 has been to deliver a professional photo/video experience above the rest, for a rate that is more reasonable than what we see locally. We're in the business of preserving memories, and we want that to be available and accessible to everyone. This ideal has led us to become proud recipients of The Knot's Hall of Fame, Best of Weddings, and Couple Choice Awards.

When we're not capturing memories for clients, we're usually either exploring temples in some foreign land, connecting with nature and camping in the many stunning landscapes of New Mexico, seeing our favorite bands at festivals, or hanging with our dog on the couch watching movies.  - Patrick and Desiree

Hi! We're a husband and wife team. I'm Patrick, lead photographer, and standing next to me is my better half and lead videographer, Desiree. Together with our team of associate photographers, we make up Patrick Beare Photo, LLC.

Meeting people and telling their unique story is a great honor and source of joy for us. Whether your event is 5 people, 500 people, Elegant and Formal, Rustic and Outdoorsy, or Star Wars themed, we're here for it and we'll not only let that shine through in the images, but we'll capture all those small candid moments in between.

Venues

Why we love it there: Finding a venue that has unbeatable views, top notch service from the staff, and a great location is rare. Far enough from Albuquerque to feel exotic, but close enough to drive to easily, you'll not only be taken care of by the staff but you'll have stunning wedding photos you can't get anywhere else!

Why we love it there: Best Hidden Gem! Southwestern charm, a small vineyard, and lush grounds come together for a beautiful location for small-medium size weddings. Your wedding photos will be very green and floral during warmer months!

Why we love it there: These elegant hotels both feature a classic southwestern flair with lots of room for weddings of all sizes. Eldorado offers an elegant and stunning white chapel and a rooftop area, while Andaluz features many small rooms in the lobby each with their own special decor which adds variety to your wedding photo possibilities.

Why we love it there: Log River Ranch is the PERFECT rustic, yet elegant, event venue. Situated right on the river, their 2000 sq. ft. reception Barn features gorgeous string lighting, a beautiful chandelier, and endless photo opportunities. There is the option to also book their large log cabin, and the reception area is in a shaded forest area. Their staff will be very attentive to your needs on your wedding day as well.​

Why we love it there: Casa Rodena offers an Old World feel with it's Tuscan architecture. There are many opportunities for beautiful photos in their Barrel Aging Room or near their pond.

DJ Services

Why we recommend them: Daniel offers a complete DJ service which includes premium sound and an array of lighting options. His wireless microphones work consistently without static, which is something we see at weddings sometimes. The 'Uplighting' and 'Custom Monogram Light' are highly recommended add-ons that create for stunning reception photos!

Why we recommend them: If you need someone to really get the party started, Sider is your guy. Sider has an excellent ability to 'read the room' to know what to play next, and his setup uses a minimal footprint in your reception area.​

Hair and Makeup

Why we recommend her: Kerbi brings 10 years of experience to the table, and we've seen firsthand how she can accentuate people's natural beauty! Her hair and makeup stays looking stunning from the getting-ready pictures until the sparkler send-off.

Cake

Why we recommend them: Their cakes have a very professional presentation, and they are delicious!

Music

Why we recommend him: Truly amazing harpist! I experienced his beautiful playing at a wedding at UNM Alumni chapel and it made everything feel nothing short of heavenly. He even threw in a well-time glissando that coincided with the first kiss, which made everything feel like it was straight out of a fairy tale.

Why we recommend them: Gorgeous floral arrangements, creative designs, and very thoughtful, easy to work with staff

Why we recommend them: Not only is the food great, the provide servers which really helps keep the line moving, very important for weddings!
